Windows 10 Build 15046 - Second Escrow Build

Today, MS released Windows 10 Build 15046 to Fast Ring Insiders - this was a PC only build.

From a new features/capabilities standpoint - the one that is most prominent is what folks have been calling Windows 10 Cloud - or the ability in the Apps settings to limited app installation to only the MS store.  Otherwise the there were some small changes to icons, Cortana colors, etc as well as another round of about 30 or so fixes.

The build downloaded and installed fine on desktop, laptop and tablet.  Like 15042 before it the evaluation watermark has been removed.

So is the 15046 build another "escrow build" or possibly even the actual Creators Update release ?  While the build was announced in the Windows 10 blog, it was not announced in the feedback hub.  Does that mean that MS has stopped taking feedback on the Creators Update or just a snafu in content deployment.

What I can say it that it is stable and fast.   If this was the release build for insiders - I could run with it until the Redstone 3 branch starts.

One thing that Paul Thurrott brought up today in a post was that there are new versions of Groove Music and Moves & TV apps that were limited to the Slow Ring.  Many responded stating that these new versions did not make the cut off date for inclusion in the Creators Update and so that is why they were limited to the Slow Ring.

So maybe it is possible that 15046 is the actual release build.

Bottom line is a new build came out today - 15046 and it may be the Creators Update production release build.
